Any relief yet? I managed to avoid this, but my best friend really struggled with it. She managed to get through it (though one duct did threaten to abcess). Once her little guy was a more efficient feeder, it seemed to clear up. She continued to bf until 12 months without continuing problems with the mastitis after a while.
I started this blog when Mrs T was first pregnant in 2005, after 11 years of marriage. No-one knew we were hoping for a family: it was our big secret. That pregnancy ended soon afterwards in a traumatic miscarriage - but remained a secret in real life, and was followed by a period of unexplained infertility.
Our current pregnancy is no secret - but the rest of the story is.
